This page is all about Grand Adventures tours and my inspiration for starting it. It came in need to provide a small group product that offered quality, service, and value for Grand Canyon tours in Las Vegas. Our Grand Adventures tour had to be about spending as much time possible at the Grand Canyon. The nature of the market here makes it easy to overlook incredible service because there are always new tourists coming to Las Vegas. I’ve been an avid traveler my whole life and experienced the best and worst, especially in the touring industry. What I’ve learned about us and traveling is that there are two types of services; connected and disconnected services.
About Grand Adventures - A Connected Service
A connected service is when people who understand their service still manage the organization. They share a connection with their customers and still remember what it is like to be a customer. They understand that most people are really the same in terms of tolerance and realize if they don’t like it, you probably won’t either. Connected services value their customers more than anything else. I’ve included a few links of places I’ve visited who are still very connected with their customers.
About Grand Adventures - Understanding Disconnected Services
A disconnected service is when people who no longer understand the service they are offering manage the organization. They have lost their connection with their customers and don’t even know what it’s like going on their own trips. Disconnected services seem to be growing rapidly with low quality, high prices, and poor customer service. Fortunately, review sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor help us sort them out and learn about us if they have “smoke and mirror”. They twist descriptions like a slice of pizza as a “buffet” or a box of apple juice and Danish pastry as “delicious and hearty”. They forgot how they would feel if someone did that to them but we keep that in mind at Grand Adventures.

One safe bet you can make in Las Vegas is that Grand Adventures will always be an organization with a connected service to you. I still guide the tours, hang out with the guests, and understand the value of knowing your likes and dislikes. There will always be good business in good service and we will always be dedicated to that service to you. We also work with like-minded tour guides who share the same passion to show you a great time while exploring the Southwest.
