Do you dare to test the heights of our Grand Canyon Skywalk Tour? Come and enjoy our Grand Canyon Skywalk Tour. We’ll jump onto the Skywalk, a bridge made of glass that extends 70 feet out and over the Grand Canyon and 4,000 feet above the bottom! Our Grand Canyon Skywalk Tour is the best tour and deal in Las Vegas! What separates our tour is that we include the Skywalk in our price, give a guided tour over Hoover Dam, two full meals, and provide a fully-guided, narrated tour. We’ll begin our tour by picking you up at your hotel and then stopping at the famous Las Vegas sign. After this, it’s off to easily your greatest dining experience in Las Vegas! We’ll stop by McDonald’s, which is included, for breakfast before going to Hoover Dam. We’ll do a quick walk over Hoover Dam and then continue our awesome journey to the Grand Canyon. We’ll drive out to Eagle Point, do the Skywalk, give a narrated tour of the Native homesteads, then drive to Guano Point, one of the most scenic points at Grand Canyon. We’ll eat a picnic lunch here, walk up to the tip of Guano Point, take some amazing pictures, then out to the end of the point. We’ll learn about the bat mines in the Grand Canyon that inspired the name of the point. We’ll leave the Grand Canyon, stop and see some Joshua Trees on the way back to Las Vegas, and drop everyone off around 6pm.

Important Grand Canyon SKYWALK Notes

ITINERARY NOTICE

Please note that the itinerary can change at anytime for any reason without notice due to traffic, weather, lines, and any other unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to change, alter, modify, or amend the timeline and tour for any reason without notice.

ALL INCLUSIVE PRICE

No sneaky resort or parking fees here! Our price includes sales tax, park entrance fees, bottled water, breakfast, lunch, and a lovely day with one of us! We don’t have any hidden  junk fees at all. Junk fees in Vegas are getting almost as guaranteed as death and taxes.

THIS IS A 12 HOUR TOUR

See what a great deal our Grand Canyon Skywalk Tours are with Grand Adventures?  It only breaks down to $10 an hour for the entertainment to hang out on a with us to see the awesome Grand Canyon skywalk and visit Grand Canyon West!

WE USE 15 PASSENGER FORD TRANSIT VANS

We use Ford Transit 15 passenger vans but only put ten customers in each group.  We may increase it up to twelve in the event of an emergency.  This is very rare.  The Ford vans offer great views, allow a very small, intimate tour environment, and don’t block views or communication between us.

SKYWALK INCLUDED IN PRICE

Yay! Grand Adventures skywalk tours are one of the only tour operators who include the skywalk fee in the price of your Grand Canyon tour.  The Grand Canyon skywalk tour is the only tour that has the skywalk so please make sure that if you want to see the skywalk to book this tour.  The Grand Canyon tours that visit Grand Canyon National Park don’t include the skywalk.

REFUND POLICY

We have free cancellation up to 48 hours of your departure time.  Tour cancelled within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund.  Unfortunately, people hold seats and cancel after they shop for tours in Vegas.  This prevents people from blocking tours.   We will issue refunds for validated and confirmed flight issues, family emergencies, and inclement weather changes or cancellations.

HIKER RATING 1/10

There is very little walking on the Grand Canyon skywalk tour.  Our tour has to park at the visitor building and take the Grand Canyon west rim shuttle to our lookout points.  The Grand Canyon Skywalk tour will visit Eagle and Guano Points.  There’s maybe 100 yards of walking at Eagle Point and 250 yards of walking at Guano Point on our west rim skywalk tour.

NO CHILDREN UNDER SEVEN

We unfortunately do not allow children under seven without permission first.  We make exceptions for families traveling with children over ten and one or two under that age.  Grand Canyon tours are more involved with each other and the van is small and intimate.  The walk can be challenging to keep the interest of children under ten.  We do make regular exceptions to this though, especially for customers traveling from overseas and if you have a few children over ten and a few under.  We definitely can’t make exceptions for very young or infant children.

LAS VEGAS SHOWS

Please DO NOT, never-ever-ever, swear-on-a-grave, BOOK A SHOW on the same night as your Grand Canyon skywalk tour. There’s always a slight chance that your tour experience could be vastly enhanced by a non-charged bonus like a flat tire, inclement weather, accident on the freeway, or even get caught in a herd of my beloved Michigan state animals, construction cones!

SAFETY NOTE

The Grand Canyon west rim is located at 4,500 feet in altitude and is pretty easy to get around.  Just make sure you wear good shoes.

PICNIC LUNCH DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER

We’ll eat inside the van on the way to the Grand Canyon or inside one of the lodges if it gets too hot or cold, snowy, or rainy out on your Grand Canyon skywalk tour.

WHAT TO BRING FOR VAN RIDE

We have WIFI hotspots but there’s a bigger problem called the old jingle, “Receeeeption”. There’s a lot of dead spots going to the Grand Canyon.  Please bring a book or another forms of entertainment. It’s a very long, scenic drive to the Grand Canyon but one of the few destinations that you’ll see that actually lives up to its hype! The scenery will change 3-4 times and those who don’t choose to sleep normally talk to each other.

Skywalk Tour Timeline

The Only Tour That Visits!

We are the ONLY tour operator who stops at the Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, provides a guided tour at Hoover Dam, and Joshua Tree National Monument!

Picnic Lunch Menu!

The Grand Adventures Advantage!

We offer a very distinct advantage on our tours. Our groups are small, we provide meals, and make more stops since we have more time due to our small group sizes. Small group travel is very efficient and so we use that extra time to show our customers a lot more. Our goal is to provide the highest quality, value, and service so that your pictures are snapshots of fond memories.

1

3 HOURS AT GRAND CANYON WEST RIM

The reason Grand Adventures decided to focus on small group tours is because we wanted to invest that time into seeing the Grand Canyon.  Our Grand Canyon Skywalk Tours allow THREE FULL HOURS at the Grand Canyon.  We don’t believe in driving that far just to rush out of there.  Our Grand Canyon Skywalk tours are designed to enhance your tour experience. The tour guide will carry your picnic lunch in a backpack and set up at one of the two lookout points at the west rim.   We always like to remind our guests that the more you eat at lunch, the lighter their pack will be the rest of the day! They will also point out hidden lookout points, good picture spots, and explain how the Grand Canyon formed.

2

SMALL GROUPS OF TEN OR LESS

Grand Adventures specializes  in small group Skywalk tours to Grand Canyon west mainly so we can capture a really personal experience for you on your tour.  It’s hard to get a big group to blend together but we do this with our small Grand Canyon groups.   This allows us to focus on personal attention during your Grand Canyon skywalk tour.  We know that smaller groups bring a higher value and personal experience for our you. Our Grand Canyon tour guides get to interact with you more personally and treat everyone like a friend, not a number.

3

GUIDED WALK THROUGH JOSHUA TREE FORREST

Remember U2’s famous Joshua Tree album? We’re going to stop at a Joshua Tree forest on our way to the West Rim and take some pictures of these amazing trees. Joshua Trees are the oldest tree species in the world. They are cactus trees and a natural wonder!  We’ll do a short, 10-15 minuted walk through the forrest.

4

FULLY GUIDED & NARRATED WALK

Our Grand Canyon Skywalk tour doesn’t include a lot of walking but like all of our tours, it is fully-guided.  The tour guide will stay with you all day, carry your lunch, narrate the Grand Canyon, take pictures for you, and make sure you get the best experience possible.  We’ll show you all of the cool spots we’ve found over the years,  point out hidden lookout points, take pictures of your group, and explain how the Grand Canyon was formed.

5

COMPLIMENTARY PICKUP & DROPOFF

We pick-up and drop-off all of our customers and not phasing this service out like other companies.  We are already starting early and don’t want to make you travel to a destination point.  We will pick up from any hotel or casino as long as it’s adjacent to the Las Vegas Strip.  Transportation services are limited to Grand Adventures Tours customer and we sadly can’t pick up at personal residences.

6

MCDONALD'S BREAKFAST INCLUDED

We’ll stop at McDonald’s and grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast, eat together, and break the ice before we venture out to the Grand Canyon. This will allow you to sleep in a little later and not worry about getting breakfast before the tour. It’s a great time to finally sit, eat, talk, and get to know each other before the tour. It’s also your first Michelin dining experience in Vegas, at least by Michigan standards!

7

PICNIC LUNCH

We still provide breakfast and lunch on our tours.  The Grand Canyon Skywalk tours will have lunch overlooking the stunning Grand Canyon.   We pack up Arby’s Marketfresh Sandwiches, grapes, crackers, cheese, cookies, and bottled water for you.  The processed boxed lunches don’t cut it so we get the really cool, awesome sandwiches from Arby’s.  They are big and there is plenty of food to eat. Most people save half of the sandwich for the ride home. We do not believe in the type of hospitality that leaves people still hungry after a scheduled meal.

8

GUIDED TOUR ONTO HOOVER DAM

We offer the only Skywalk tour that offers a guided tour over Hoover Dam.  We do not stop for photos.  We park and walk onto Hoover Dam so you can see both sides:  The reservoir and power plant. It’s really hot in the summer so download your thermometer on your phone and we’ll try to catch 125 degrees or 48 celcius! We usually do the walk in the afternoon because we try to beat the west rim skywalk line.  Those big buses are on the move!  We stop at the lookout point closest to the dam, which overhangs the Colorado River. You’ll be surprised that the dam is much smaller then it looks on TV or in those Superman movies.

9

PHOTO STOP AT FAMOUS LAS VEGAS SIGN

Our Grand Canyon Skywalk tour includes a stop at the most famous sign in the world, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.  We’ll stop at the famous Viva Las Vegas sign on the way out of Las Vegas.  It’s our very first stop in the morning and we get there early enough that we have free reign on it.  It gets really, really busy there.  There’s some great pics here before we get going on our Grand Canyon Skywalk tour.
