The drive to the Grand Canyon is 267 miles so we get to take a lot of southwest photos. The scenery is going to change three times as we travel the southwest to the Grand Canyon. So, get ready to take some great southwest photos on your Grand Adventures tours! You’ll start out in the Mohave Desert in Las Vegas. We’ll drive to Kingman, where the elevation will introduce us to the high desert country in the southwest. Here, you’ll want to keep your camera ready for some majestic, wide open southwest photos. The scenery will change again in Williams, Arizona where we’ll drive onto the Coconino plateau through a pinion pine forest.
