Why Drive?

Why Drive

Grand Adventures Tours

Our Grand Adventures tours are priced to be competitive with driving yourself.  Why drive when you can relax and let us be your host to the Grand Canyon on your Grand Adventures tours?  You’ll actually lose a lot by driving yourself on a day trip.  It’s a very long drive and there’s a lot of fees involved.  You’ll have to pay for food, gas, car rental, park fees, and then figure out what to do once you get to Grand Canyon.  We’ve done all of that for you at Grand Adventures so you can relax while we drive.   You’ll get to take pictures, harass the tour guide, and take a nap if you need to while we make sure you get to Grand Canyon safely.

Grand Canyon Driving Summary

Why drive when the tour guides at Grand Adventures are accustom to driving the long trek to Grand Canyon?  It’s 267 miles one way to the South Rim and 139 miles to the West Rim.  It’s ten hours of driving if you aren’t accustom to that, which can be very dangerous for the untrained, professional athletes like we have driving for us.  We also know the route extremely well, know where to stop, and don’t waste time getting lost or distracted.  Letting Grand Adventures drive also maximizes your time at the Grand Canyon for day trips.
